Pippin:
But Snape *is* totally right. Harry will be blocked until he masters 
occlumency, ie always, so the answer is to choose another form
of battle. Going head to head with a more advanced wizard
can only  be Harry's last resort, not his first. For example,  
Harry could have set Buckbeak free himself if he'd thought of it.
