Why Sirius did not apparate into GH

I am pretty sure that is why he choose a motorcycle for transportation 
instead of a broom but I do think he choose a kind of untraceble way of 
transportation because of safety issues. Many people have made an issue 
of him taking a slower way of transportation instead of apparating when 
he his friends were in trouble and that it this proofed him being 
reckless but I think recklessness was not an issue here. For all he 
knew Peter could have very well been with the Potters instead of being 
where he suppossed to be, he could not have taken the risk of exposing 
the location of GH even if it the house itself would not been revieled.
