I just find this highly unlikely. Voldemort is terrified of death. Why would
he go there willingly?

I do believe, however, that Love (disdained by Voldemort) will be his
downfall in the end. And I predict that Voldemort will get the Dementor's
Kiss (a fate worse than death).
