Will Harry Lose His Powers?

I'm re-reading GOF (the book Rowling says is the 'pivotal' book) with 
my daughter, and there are several occurances where Harry wishes he 
was just "part of the crowd." Knowing Rowling's tendency to telegraph 
plot elements, the only way I can see that happening (and Harry 
surviving Book 7) is to somehow lose his magical powers. Any thoughts 
on this?
