Parseltongue

I got the impression after reading this book (as well as after 
reading "Chamber of Secrets") that the only reason why Harry could 
speak Parseltongue was because he had a little bit of Voldemort inside 
him, literally. 

Since he destroyed that part of himself, then wouldn't it make sense 
that he no longer has this ability?

I'm just speculating here, but I want to know what you all think?
