They were 20.

According to their tombstones, James was born March 27, 1960 and Lily
was born January 30, 1960.  They were 21 when they died on October 31,
1981.  Since Harry was 1 at the time, I assume they were 20 when he was born (much younger then how they look in the movies).  I had thought for some reason that Harry was born July 31, 1981, but I guess it had to have been 1980.  I can't remember if the year of his birth was mentioned in any of the books.  Was it?
