That is a good point - Merope was a witch and I believe that it wasn't
said that she didn't use magic until later in life, it was said that
after Tom Riddle left her she chose not to use magic anymore. And in
the memory she was using magic. I agree that it could be Trelawney -
as you never see her using magic - does the prophecy really count as
magic??
