Reference to Easter foreshadowing?

I noticed that, too, and was wondering throughout my reading what other
metaphors and references would show up. I always had a sense that JKR was
setting Harry up to be a Christ-figure of sorts. Im not a Christian, but it
was painfully obvious. Simply calling Harry the chosen one, a sort of
Messiah of the Wizards, was enough. I knew Harry wasnt going to die because
of that metaphor and knew if he did, he wouldve been resurrected.

It surprised me as well. Other than the Christmas celebrations they had, I
didnt think they subscribed to any particular faith especially the house
elves
