I agree with you.
It reminds me of Sirius's death, I don't think he was killed by
an AK curse, but he died nonetheless.

Speaking of Sirius, I'm mildly disapointed that we didn't get
explanations for the veil thingy where he disappeared. If it's
nothing, why not just getting him killed by a good ol' AK and
be done with it. It seems like quite a complication for something
that's not explained later.
