Nora:

I think he doesn't go back.  He still has two pieces of his soul
alive: Nagini and himself.  That is why, or how, he remains in this
world.  However, it seems that the piece of soul that was inside Harry had something special, as this is the first time that having a
horcrux finished down have some impact on him. We see him falling in
the forest, while before he never noticed that the horcruxes were
destroyed.  Even when Nagini is killed, he does not show anything but
fury.
