Dana:
Sirius does that too. I do not see why this would make Lupin 
suspisious. The DEs refer to LV as the Dark Lord and so does Snape 
but not Lupin.

Dana:

Lupin never says anything about Regulus in OotP. He states in HBP 
that as far as he can remember Sirius's brother did not last long 
with the DEs. That is all that he states. Regulus died a year before 
the Potters did so there would have been numerous ways to find out he 
died.
