I am new to posting, but the thoughts re: Snape and Fawkes put forth 
by Peggy truly do answer a number of questions.  

-what is Snape's Patronus
-DD's unswerving trust in Snape
-where Fawkes was and why he was not on the tower
-why Snape is so good at healing

I must say, I have enjoyed reading these posts more than I can say.  
I am somewhat homebound with mobility problems it has been awesome 
to review these beloved books with such learned posters.  Many
