AmanitaMuscaria now - You're quite right, Dung - it is a snake. I was 
seeing it facing the other direction and assuming the scales were 
part of its body. The snake, however, has a bird's beak.. and what 
_is_ the scaly thing?
Also, what's the piece made of the same stuff, just behind Harry's 
left arm? Looks a bit like a welder's facemask ... 
Lots to ponder.
