I think that the original theory ( I mean, Jen's post) has a lot of 
canon and speculation too obviously. Sure, whether any of the DE wants 
Sirius dead or not IS speculation, but I was pointing that JKR does 
specifically stated that the reason is there whatever that is.

I am reposting the link, because I think it is really far from being 
wild speculation. That Snape was involved in Sirius death that is.


I would call it very canon rooted speculation at least :) The ultimate 
conclusion of it is speculation but support IMO is there.
