I was pretty sure that it was Fawkes who set fire to Dumbledore's pyre
(thus putting stop to his own reincarnations). The whole scene was like
a replay of the Phoenix and the Turtle, except that Shakespearian
Phoenix was female. Then again we know now that Dumbledore was gay
