I've heard of that possession described as mind-rape, and also as...
not exactly a metaphor, but going to edge of acceptable in terms
of what's allowable in a children's book in terms of violation of a
child by a... well, a memory of an older teenager.
That's what I was referring to. But if you don't see it, you don't. It
seems to me that a lot of these images... impressions... are written
in a way that you aren't necessarily going to pick it up.
Or, if you do, you end wondering if it's just your own imagination.
