Prep0strus:
I have a feeling, at least in hagrid's case, it's more due to his
devotion to Dumbledore and faith in his trust than in any innate faith
in Snape. Of course, with Hagrid, he has trust and faith in many
things that he shouldn't, so that trust, as well as potential for
betrayal may always be present.
