I like this reasoning also - better than I like Harry's.  But
I have one question:  why did Narcissa ask Harry if Draco
was still alive?  Yes, I know that Harry was in the castle
a while ago, and she knows this, too, but she knows at
least that Harry has been gone from the castle for the
time it took for Harry to walk a long ways into the forest,
and for Voldemort to "kill" him.  Isn't the battle still going
on?  Couldn't something have happened to Draco in the
interim?
