I disagree on this one.  If I recall correctly, her posting the  answer to 
the FC was the result of a poll she ran on her web site.  She  would select 3 
things for the readers to vote on and the winning topic  would receive an 
answer. No one *made* her select the FC as a voting  option.  I'd imagine that there 
were numerous other things that she could  have picked instead and people 
would have been just as happy to vote for  one of them.  If she weren't willing 
to post the complete and correct  answer then she never should have offered it 
as a selection.  So IMO  she made a mistake either in the book or on the web 
site.  My guess  would be the web site because as I recall that answer was 
posted *after* the  publishers would have already received the complete 
manuscript.
