I did. There was no way of knowing for me that some of her classmates

Not Jen, but to me it is absolutely same thing as suggest to join
Voldemort, because accepting his ultimatum - giving him Harry, means
pretty much Voldemort wins to me anyways.
So, yes, to me it is suggesting joining Voldemort.
