Sorry if someone has already replied to this, but in DH, pg.131, Ron's Aunty Muriel says:
"Didn't Aberforth break Albus's nose halfway through [Ariana's funeral service]?"
So while the broken nose was significant, it was not because Albus played quidditch:)
