He didn't forget. When he disarms Lockhart later in the book, he says:
"Shouldn't have let Professor Snape teach us that one". I always loved
that Harry even calls Snape "professor" on this occasion :-). So he
remembers, at least in CoS.

You know, there was a question about this on that Web chat last July.
The question was: "Can harry speak parseltongue when he is no longer a
horcrux?" She answered: "No, he loses the ability, and is very glad to
do so". There is a transcript in Leaky archives, I would give you the
link, but they don't work.
