Dave:
We know of at least one case of someone -- Morfin -- who was sentenced
to Azkaban (for attacking Pop Riddle), but not for life.  Anyone who
was released after serving their term could have spoken at length on how
Azkaban is clearly not an institution geared towards rehabilitation.
