Pippin:
Nope. Seamus Finnegan's dad is a Muggle, and as far as we know the
Finnegan family is just fine. They also don't seem to be cut off from
the WW. We don't hear much about Seamus's dad, but there's no
indication that he was unhappy once he got over the shock of learning
he'd married a witch. 

The text shows that relationships between people who come from
different cultures and can't assimilate are difficult -- who would argue 
with that?
