Well, I disagree. I posted a very long post indicating where there
were indicators that DD was gay in canon. If anyone is interested, I
can post the exact message.

She stated in her television show "Dumbledore is gay. He is gay" in
response to a question about Charlie being gay (no, he was more
interested in dragons, she said). She stated in her interview that
she realized DD was gay while she was writing Harry Potter and the
Philosopher's Stone.

She stated that she didn't reveal it in the books because it would
have given away a crucial part of the plot that was still a mystery.
