I am actually with you about Ron, I think. I seriously doubt that JKR 
meant for him to have multiple jobs, otherwise she would have said so 
IMO.

But we do see the character who has multiple jobs - Dumbledore. He is 
at least Headmaster and leader of Order of phoenix.
