All the difference for Tonks – yes. But why it had to make all the 
difference for Harry? Tonks and Lupin were adults. Tonks was 
certainly a big girl. I don't think or, rather, I hope that she 
wouldn't have appreciated his championship. He was certainly unjust 
when he called Lupin a coward and a daredevil. For one thing, one 
cannot be both at the same time, for another, Lupin was neither.

He intended both. And while it is not very admirable as far as Tonks 
was concerned, it wasn't Harry's business to take him to task, much 
less to insult him.
