I think DD was hoping to delay his death a bit longer based on what 
I've read so far.  I can't rule out a "glad to get it over with" 
feeling also because a natural reaction to dying is to "get it over 
with" feel sometimes.  I'm sure that someone in the Order would've 
acted on it, but can't speculate as to who because there's a lot of 
names there.
