Hi, and welcome. There may be different answers to your question, by I
always thought that Harry felt resentful towards DD at that time.
Harry just found out from Snape's memories that DD intended for him to
die, that he was "raising him like a pig for slaughter".
Only in "Kings Cross" Harry learns that DD knew he wouldn't die, that
he only wanted Harry to believe that. But as Harry walked through the
forest to his death, he believed that DD sacrificed him to the cause
without a second thought. He even thinks of "Dumbledore's betrayal",
meaning that he believes at this point that DD betrayed him - not
exactly the person to call to cheer you up before death :-)! That's
how I see it, anyway.
