I think JKR's mistake was not actually shrinking Trevor. She probably 
thought it was cute having Trevor reverse aging, tadpoles are cute, 
right?

If they really had a potion that reversed aging, wouldn't you think 
we'd have a bunch of buff 21-year-old-looking witches and wizards all 
over the WW? ;-)

Mike, looking down at his 52-y.o. expansive mid-section, thinking he 
wouldn't mind some of *that* shrinking solution, whichever way it 
actually works :D
