That's exactly how I felt. Of course I had to read the final two 
books to see how the series ended. To some extent, even though there 
were parts of each book that I truly enjoyed, I felt like this was 
more of an assignment that I had to complete than something I really 
wanted to do, if that makes any sense.  I comforted myself with the 
thought that at least Remus was still alive, although I didn't have 
high hopes for him surviving, and then had the major disappointment 
of his character turning into a complete mound of misery.
