Slytherins are (*not* ) bad (was:Re: Severus as friend)

In the discussion of the "good Slytherin" or lack thereof, what about 
Ted Tonks's wife, and Teddy Lupin's grandmother, whose first name I 
have forgotten, and I don't have the books handy.

She was a Black by birth, and Sirius said that he was the first of his 
family not to be in Slytherin, so one can assume that she was a 
Slytherin.  Yet, she married a muggle born, and was willing to supply 
a safe house for On The Run Harry and to provide loving care for the 
son of a werewolf, and apparently support her daughter's marriage to a 
werewolf.
