My cut and paste skills are in dire need of improvement apparently, so 
here ya go, two posts instead of one, LOLOL.

Just wanted to be clear that I am not saying that Snape was trying to 
PREVENT Harry on purpose after DH, just as I am not saying that he is 
trying to help Harry.

I am saying that the ONLY thing that Snape was doing is enjoying 
himself and the small possibility, maybe that Barty could have been 
saved was an unexpected effect OF his torment of Harry. There are so 
many unexpected effects in the books after all.
