Carol responds:
Communication by Dark Mark is instant and can involve one DE or the
whole group, as we've known since GoF. And we've also seen Voldemort
communicating clairvoyantly with Nagini. It would have taken the DEs
no longer than it took Dolohov and Thorfinn Rowle to reach the
restaurant after Harry said "Voldemort," conveniently dressed as
Muggle workers. (How did that happen, BTW? DEs must have a clearer
idea than the good guys how Muggles dress?) and if Fenrir Greyback and
his gang of idiots can arrive instantly at the tent when Harry says
"Voldemort," regular DEs can surely come with equal promptness when
the Dark Lord himself says "Come, and bring a broomstick with you!"

Carol, wishing that JKR were entirely clear and consistent with regard
to communication by Dark Mark
