Jack-A-Roe:
I skipped the beginning because I pretty much agree with Carol (mark
this day down) on the reasoning for Snape telling Voldemort.

I think Harry didn't tell anyone because Dumbledore told him not to
tell anyone but Ron & Hermione. Even when he was feeling "betrayed"
it felt more like he was a puppy that just got smacked for doing
something wrong and trying figure out what it was.

This is after all Harry's journey. Part of that journey is to see
Dumbledore as a human being not some perfect all powerful wizard.

I think of it as when you are growing up and find out that your dad
isn't superman.
