Isn't this at Christmas? Have we already seen signs that Draco is 
frayed and nervous? I don't think he's in it for the glory at this 
point. His life is in the balance, and LV has probably threatened his 
parents' lives as well. Draco resents Snape for usurping Lucius's place 
and he thinks Snape is a loyal DE. What good would it do to say that LV 
has blackmailed him? That appears to be business as usual at DE 
headquarters. It's unfortunate that Bella undermined Draco's 
relationship with Snape. Things might have gone differently.

Do I have the timeline correct---doesn't Snape tell DD much earlier 
than Christmas(per DH) that Draco resents him?
