Now come on, that was very tongue-in-cheek, wasn't it.

Within the context of the thread, Bruce was referring to fictional work 
where a writer would draw on their imaginative and cultural sources for 
their work - which is what JKR has claimed to do on occasions.

There again, if you believe that God created the world (as I and many 
group members do),  a chemistry book has a lot to do with Christianity,
hasn't it? And I'm sure the same could be claimed for a Potions textbook.
