The scene in the first chapter of HBP where the Death Eaters are sitting around the table in Malfoy Manor as Voldemort insults them--"Will you [Draco] babysit the cubs [Lupin and Tonks's children]?"--while a terrified Professor Charity Burbage revolves overhead is truly disturbing. Most of the Death Eaters are visibly frightened as Voldemort cruelly taunts them before killing Professor Burbage with "Avada Kedavra." The scene and dialogue really capture how Voldemort rules through fear and intimidation and enjoys murdering people.
