Not all the memories in Harry's head were bad. The one with Cho was 
simply deeply personal...as if the others weren't, but you know what I 
mean.

So, if the girl is Lily, and I think she must be, Snape wouldn't want 
Harry to see the whole memory. After all, this is what happens next:

The broom thows him to the ground. Lily rushes over to see if he is all 
right. Then she kisses him and exclaims, "Sev, you're so brave!"

You know Severus wouldn't want Harry to see that!
