When I think Cedric, I think "pretty boy Diggory". Since I have never chased 
the "pretty boys", I wouldn't have chosen him for a boyfriend. I mean, he's 
smart and everything, but I just don't think he would have been in "my 
crowd" or in "my circle of friends". Too much attention paid to him, too 
much of a chance that I would never really have his full attention.

And, the other reason that people might not have chosen him is that he died 
while yet a student, which meant that he never lived long enough to get 
married. Hard to choose someone for a potential spouse if he's dead.
