Zara:
Why/how should he have? This does not seem to me to require an 
explanation. There is nothing in either scene that suggests to me that 
Voldemort is present. He does not speak or demonstrate his presence in 
any way.

Zara:
Everyone on the pitch knew something was wrong with Harry's broom. 
Hagrid explained to Ron and Hermione, for example, that only Dark Magic 
could have such an effect on a racing broom. I presume Snape drew the 
same conclusion, only unlike Hagrid, Snape had the know-how to do 
something about it.
