><snip>Draco hated being a Death Eater, failed to kill Dumbledore,

himself or his family, and refused to clearly acknowledge that he

Laura says:

Just because you're a failed villain doesn't mean you're not a
villain. Draco never missed an opportunity to bully the weak, suck up
to the powerful and promote himself at every opportunity. He didn't
reveal HRH on his mother's instructions, not because he cared about
them. Pansy was just as much of a bully. I didn't read JKR's remarks
about Slytherins coming back to fight, but I'm glad to hear it.
Still, McGonagall's orders didn't stop Colin Creevey from coming back
to fight. That's just a weak excuse.

When I referred to Slytherins fighting in the Battle, I meant adult
ones, and it's clear that there were plenty of those.

Laura, who would like to think that Carol is right but thinks caution
is a wise attitude to adopt towards Draco et al.
