Don't you think people would find it odd that somebody would have the most powerful wand in the world but never use it? Don't you think they'd wonder where it was?

During the half century Dumbledore used the Elder Wand he certainly valued friendship and bravery and cultivated allies and I see no reason Harry couldn't do the same. And I agree that magical ability isn't everything, but it's certainly something.
