Carol responds:
Technically, of course, we only see all of them from Harry's POV. He's the one entering the Pensieve (which stores objective memories), and what commentary the narrator provides is Harry's perception of the events and characters. We do hear other characters comment on both James and Lily, but on the few occasions when we see them (in Snape's memories, Voldemort's memory ot their murder, and their echoes in GoF and shades, for lack of a better word, in DH), it's Harry's perception that counts.
Carol, noting that we don't really get any scenes from Snape's point of view since "Spinner's End" and "the Dark Lord Rising" use an objective narrator and the rest use the limited omniscient narrator writing Harry's perceptions
