Normally I'd agree but if Hermione actually sat down with her parents and  
told them in exacting detail of everything that LV and the DEs were  
attempting to do in the WW.  Explained that she was in this from the  beginning and 
that she was going to be in this until the bitter end.  And  that not only 
would they be safer but she would be safer (not worrying  about them ect) if 
they'd agree to the memory charm, they might have gone  for it.  As you 
said they seem to do right by her, I'd guess that they  would trust her and her 
judgement in this situation.
