And Dudley also gets a computer game at one point, doesn't he? One that technically came out a few years after the story is taking place? And Harry's birthdate is 1980, isn't it? I can't remember if they ever say that specifically in the books. We know Grindelwald was defeated in 1945, and Lord Voldemort's life has some dates.
