I guess I do not quite understand then how is  belief that Harry should have "shared his feelings of disgust for James behaviour" is not the same as demanding an apology from Harry for James' behavior.

I seriously do not understand the difference here. It is probably just semantics, but I do not get it.

It is still demanding from Harry to take responsibility for somebody else's actions, is it not?
