True. And yet, fantasy among its many virtues allows us to enjoy things which in real life would be bad for us, or at any rate emotionally exhausting. I would doubt the sanity and the wisdom of anyone who actually wanted to be a superspy or a costume hero (or, for that matter, a wizard with messianic powers), but I don't think it's crazy to daydream about it.
