Fantasy!Snape is all grown up, isn't dead, and isn't hung up on Lily. But he's still got that hypnotic voice, unfathomable black eyes, a vicious sense of humor and a way with words. For all that, I can put up with the hair. 

And he's one really dangerous wizard  -- which appeals to me in a fantasy, where I can  enjoy  stuff that would  be incredibly damaging  in real life. Besides, who can resist a man who actually can read your mind?

Now, considering the girls question as if I were a male, what about a younger McGonagall?

She's got a sense of humor under all that starch. And that turns-into-a-cat thing is cool!
