Boy, did we used to pour over names and any possible hints!
We were particularly concerned that the historical Severus Septimus (who spent time in Britain) was associated with Albinius (Albus?) and would later kill him and take his place as emperor (headmaster?). So i don't know why the ending of HBP was such a surprise.

I've typed this without my glasses or spellcheck...I hope there aren't any glaring errors.
